For all the summer lovers, these flowers will become your new summer faves!

For all our friends located in the Northern Hemisphere where we all know that the hottest season of the year starts in June and ends in August, we’re pretty excited to announce that yes, summer is already here, and along with the season come our favorite summer flowers!

Meet the summer collection by Sky Flowers! Our hydrangeas are delicately and meticulously tinted to feature shades and hues of orange and yellow, creating the perfect summer combination. When mixing both blooms, it’s just like having a beautiful sunset just in time for these hot, long, sunny days. One thing’s for sure when summertime comes, it’s vital to learn how to take care of your flowers so they can keep you longer company and at the same time make any space look radiant.

1. Water at a rate of 1 inch per week, and make sure to deeply water 3 times a week to encourage root growth. Tip: Watering in the morning will help prevent hydrangeas from wilting during the hottest summer days.

2. Apply fertilizer based on your specific hydrangeas. Each variety has different needs and will benefit from different application timing. The best way to determine your fertility needs is by using a soil test.

3. Hydrangeas like the morning sun, but do not do well if they’re in direct, hot summer heat and sun. Make sure to give your blooms partial shade in the later parts of the day!

4. Don’t make the mistake of letting your summer hydrangeas sit in full shade because if you do, they will definitely not bloom and keep you the summer company you’ve been looking for.

Now, the real question: which color is your favorite for these summer days? If you can’t decide on one, of course, it's a sign you need to get both gorgeous colors in orange and yellow to brighten up every single day. Because we all know that summer days go by very fast and don’t come back for a long time so make sure to enhance your house, your decor, or even as a gift to yourself.
